Same symptoms:

i had the sames issues with my omnia device, i did this “Kernel module crashed” and it seemed to have it fixed for me. running now for 4 days without any firmware crash, before i hat daily crashes.

Yeah this has happened to me since day 1. If you search this forum, you’ll find plenty of other people experiencing this problem. Infuriating, really, as I have to have Ethernet cables running through my flat now.

At this point, I wish I could return the Omnia. It is a defective product as far as I’m concerned.

i think this is more a general ath10k firmware problem, which targets multiple devices, not only the Omnia. With the ct-htt firmware i’m quite happy with its stability and hack-ability due to the open platform. as far as i found out there aren’t many alternatives for a 5ghz wifi card which is not running atheros firmware’s.
