I installed the 5G kit, everything worked. Then it needed to reboot and since then all I get is white LEDs on power, PCI2 and WAN… after few minutes it reboots again. I can’t access the logs or anything. Have to use secondary gate. I’m a newbie to the world of networking. (Yes hardware is installed correctly)
Installing the 5G kit triggers a firmware upgrade (automatically). However, the upgrade itself is still considered experimental. Some routers have problems with RAM after the update. There is no automated solution for it yet, but there’s a workaround. The new firmware adds “10-button” reset mode. So just do the reset as described in docs, but wait for 10 lights. This switches RAM to a compatibility mode and that could help the router to boot (otherwise, it doesn’t touch your data or configs).
