why do you think so? rather the 7.1 brought us much closer with nftables

7.0.3 HBS → 7.1.1 HBS update ok (no new problems introduced), connectivity went down for a very short while. Restart needed. Internet worked after updated but before reboot.

Turris Omnia 2017, 1 GB RAM, dead eMMC, system running from mSATA SSD, original wifi cards, WAN via DHCPv4. Storage plugin enabled, USB HDD shared over samba4 and minidlna, OpenVPN, PPtP VPN, IKEv2 VPN, minipots, custom Turris Webapps on Node.js webserver.

I had to convert a few custom firewall rules, that was all

I also updated my fail2ban jails to use nftables.

Also, as a remnant of the upgrade to 7.0, I think Python version changed, so all manually installed pip packages had to be reinstalled for the new interpreter version.
