Turris OS 7.0 is out!

Where? In luci, ifconfig, or somewhere else?

It would be nice if you don’t post czech replies on an english thread!

there was no czech thread to choose.

LuCI

Hmm, I’ve never considered the order of interfaces in Luci as something given…

I had the same. After the reboot you can try setting the resolver back to the ISP (if you want that). It worked for me.

yep, after the update, i put it back to ISP. Works.

Same happened to me with the DNSSEC complaint about the ISP’s servers. I don’t believe it for a minute. Like you and dutch dude setting it back to forward to ISP after the reboot works.

If I hadn’t noticed the error message it would have remained in standalone forever, not that it’s the worst thing in the world. As I mostly trust my ISP, for the moment forwarding seems like the best choice.

Heureka. I had to go through the log. I searched by the key “php7” and found an entry

Nextcloud and php7 have nothing to do there. I remove them from the file and finaly updated router. So far everything seems to be working…

@mvasilek sorry for pinging you but could you tag v7 on gitlab?
I would like to rebuild kernel with one more patch and I have nothing to refer to. Thanks

I’m getting this:

@slush Deselect seccomp and proces jail in reforis packages list in Hardening section.

Anyway its not really used and your updater should pass.

Hi Turris team! I have the same error on all my Omnias (like 5 of them in total). Is there any update on what’s wrong? Because I suppose every Omnia has a usb3 port, so, my brain cannot understand why most of the people hadn’t hit this issue.

I’m stuck at Turris OS version 6.5.2 and not getting any update notification, any idea?

I don’t think kmod-usb3 is in the standard installation. Either it got into the OS with some dependency, or by manual installation.
I uninstalled kmod-usb3 and the upgrade to TOS 7 went without a problem. The USB devices works and seems to work with the correct speed.

Simple benchmark hdparm -Tt to SSD over USB:

Timing cached reads: 1184 MB in 2.00 seconds = 591.88 MB/sec
Timing buffered disk reads: 1060 MB in 3.00 seconds = 352.83 MB/sec

lsusb -t seems OK:

Never mind. I did a factory reset (to 5.0.0) and it updated to 7.0.0 right away…

Hi Everybody,

After upgrade to 7.0 my Turris changed to peace of brick.
I downloaded medkit-latest. After first online update cca 400 packages I see error:

“kmodloader: no module folders for kernel version 5.15.146 found”

device is self and always booting and rebooting.
Can somebody here help me?

Thank you all.

Failed update, kmod-usb3 not available.

UPDATE: I’ve removed the kmod-usb3 package as per @Petan suggestion and the upgrade went smoothly. I’ve got an external storage attached and it’s working fine.

Hmm, not sure if this a feature or something else, but since os7 the BCP38 info/result is missing in stats>firewall. Both on Omnia and mox.
BCP38 is on as in activated.

After upgrading to TOS 7, the router is a piece of brick - CZ11NIC13 no-WiFi version. None of the available reset options have helped. Re-flash router from flash drive caused that a patch cable is not being detected in any LAN ports, only WAN LED blinks when a patch cable is plugged into WAN port. Any other option than toss it away?
