Turris OS 5.3.8 is out!

Dear Turris users,

We released a new Turris OS 5.3.8 release primarily for Turris 1.x owners, the blue router, given to the users in the Czech Republic from the testing branch. These routers are already supported for many years. We still count on supporting this device. For other Turris devices, there is only updated kernel.

Release notes:

  • Updated kernel to version 4.14.275
  • Multiple fixes for Turris 1.x routers
    • Fixed Foris Controller with a single Wi-Fi card
    • Force read-write to microSD card slot
  • Updated OUI database for MAC addresses

This update will be downloaded and applied automatically. If you are using approvals or delayed update, check reForis for further details.

MOX A+D everything fine after hard reboot

Thank you team

Turris 1.x DHCP IPv4 on the local network did not want to allocate addresses after the update (e.g. Windows used automatic IP). I had to check “Force DHCP on this network even if another server is detected.” I have no other DHCP servers on the local network. IPv6 was fully functional. Even the default IPv4 gateway that shows up after entering ipconfig was surprisingly correct. Only client didn’t have assigned IPv4 address.
