Turris OS 5.1.2 is now in HBT (Testing) branch

Dear Turris users,

We just released Turris OS 5.1.2 into HBT (Testing) :turtle: branch. In this release, you can find improvements for Data collect firewall, security updates (ipmitool, openconnect), and a few package updates.

Changelog is:

  • Changed priority of port forwarding for data collect firewall to not overrule user’s rules.
  • Fixed issue with data collect firewall logs collecting in some cases causing high system load

However, if you find any bugs, please report them in the correct ways, they are described here.

Did not encountered such problem on my side, using Turris Omnia. All went well.

The problem appears only on my MOX boxes (not on Omnia and Turris1.x)

Yes, I can confirm MOX device.

MOX Classic, .5 GB, simple config, all seems OK.

What you mean with 5 GB?

You didn’t notice the (small) point  It’s only half of GB, not five

Same here - MOX HBT:

corruption: The SHA256Sum sum of libopenssl does not match

Guys, thank you for using HBT (Testing) branch. We can confirm that this is happening for the Turris MOX router. We will have the solution for it today.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by this.

Thank you for you care.

And here goes another RC version of Turris OS 5.1.2, where was mariadb updated to the latest version and fixed an issue which was happening on Turris MOX since yesterday that update was not smooth as it should.

Yes, if you didn’t have installed mariadb there were no other changes, so it is expected that there are no new updates. But you don’t need to worry about that as in the next RC, there is going to be updated package(s) for all routers.

Thanks for explaining, no mariadb in my case

After today kernel update and restart, MOX hangs.

My both MOX boxes works well

You are really lucky man.
