I’m on HBL and I wanted to switch to HBK, but after switch-branch hbk, pkgupgrade errors with a drivers directory not being found on the HBK branch (which is true, it’s only on HBL). Anyone know how to switch branches downward from HBL?
I may have to forgot to do opkg update
before performing pkgupgrade
. Though I don’t know if it’s necessary, whether pkgupgrade
doesn’t implicitly perform opkg update
as a first step…
You can use a rollback to pre-switch snapshot https://docs.turris.cz/geek/schnapps/schnapps/
Basically what you need to do to downgrade to HBK is to remove file /etc/updater/conf.d/drivers.lua
as this is the upcoming feature for the stable release.
Somewhat of a sledge-hammer to crack a nut for me, since I switched to HBL (I like the new reForis UI) a couple of days after I bought it, and have done loads of config since then. May as well do a factory reset.
Thanks for the info, randomly deleting files makes me nervous unless someone who knows what they’re doing tells me to
