Are there any plans to support Dynamic DNS and if yes, which providers will be supported. thanks, m.
DDNS is already a part of OpenWRT. Check out the wiki: https://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/ddns.client

M4x was really faster than me. As he said it is part of OpenWRT.
In LuCI interface you can find these: https://ctrlv.cz/Q6xA (photo is taken from Turris 1.1)
Thanks, I know about OpenWRT DDNS support. I would like to know if this feature will be enabled.
But it looks like yes (Pepe’s screenshot).
The Turris can also be used for the reverse case: You could run a DNS server like Knot DNS (a popular and free software developed by CZ.NIC) and use it to dynamically update other devices’ DNS entries dynamically. It releases you from the spamming/forced logins many dynamic DNS providers require when using their free tiers.
Of course this makes most sense if your Turris has a fixed IP and it probably won’t provide the same reliability as commercial providers offer. But hey, for many applications that’s absolutely enough and it’s fun!
