I’ve seen discussion on this here in October (easy to find). It’s low-priority and was apparently either forgotten or just delayed by more important tasks…
pardon the duplicity
understand priorities just suppose that any such depreciated options/settings bloating the code unecessarily and irritate. hope that ‘forgetting’ code tidying is not the preferred quality policy…
