On my Turris Omnia OS v7.1.3:
I’ve installed nextcloud and then added the gpoddersync plugin. Turns out that most of my podcast subscriptions don’t work because the version of curl installed on my Turris Omnia does not support compression.
$ curl --compressed
curl: option --compressed: the installed libcurl version doesn't support this
curl: try 'curl --help' for more information
Xefir from the repod plugin pointed me to the curl issue:
Would it be possible to package a curl version with compression support?
Maybe there already exists a prebuilt package one can just install? I couldn’t find anything though.
Else I can of course try to build libcurl, but I didn’t find which other options should be enabled to not break backwards compatibility. Any help would be much appreciated.
