Do not power on the device when the battery is lying somewhere inside misplaced, it may cause short circuit and damage.

we have several versions of battery holders. The newest ones have shorter spring, but compared to the old one, they also have a plastic lock on the other side of the holder. So batteries are hold in place by both - the spring (which in itself although shorter can hold battery quite well) and plastic lock on the opposing side.
We are really sorry for the inconvenience and we are trying to figure out how can it became loose even through it didn’t in any of our tests (we drove with Omnia without paper box for quite some distance on both local roads and highways and even tried tossing it around (not recommended)). We are also taking some preemptive counter-measures.
