Would it be possible to move the entire root filesystem to mSATA drive and get Omnia boot from that?
It would make me sleep sound at night knowing that if the flash got worn out I could replace the drive. Furthermore, having removable disk lets me securely erase any secret data (think disk encryption keys) with a help of a hammer; that’s not really an option if flash is part of the PCB.
