It isnt included in any OpenWrt stable branches, you might want to request it there, if it is going to be backported. Otherwise, there is no chance that Turris guys will look into it. LuCI packages and as almost every package from upstream comes as it is without further notification. Doing that in downstream is possible, but its adds additional overhead, which they can not afford right now.
Once it is backported in the stable branches, then Turris OS will have it depending on OpenWrt version.
Thanks. As I haven’t found it even in hbl/hbd, I thought there is still some whitelist of packages distributed to TOS users. But maybe that’s the very old times of TOS 3.x … So currently whatever is available upstream and built for the architecture, is available?
If something is not available in Turris OS and it is there for OpenWrt, then there is something going on and thats needs to be reported downstream and Turris guys needs to look into it.
Yes, because currently Turris OS does not compile master branch, yet. HBL is 22.03, HBD is 23.05. You can imagine Turris OS as patchset, which is applied on top of each OpenWrt version.
