Random disconnecting eth1

Hi, our Omnia recently started to randomly disconnect from the WAN (eth1). The syslog is full of messages like:
[102196.967847] mvneta f1034000.ethernet eth1: Link is Down
[102196.968631] br-wan: port 1(eth1) entered disabled state
[102197.965165] mvneta f1034000.ethernet eth1: Link is Up - 100Mbps/Full - flow control off
[102197.965189] br-wan: port 1(eth1) entered forwarding state
[102197.965217] br-wan: port 1(eth1) entered forwarding state
[102199.964040] br-wan: port 1(eth1) entered forwarding state

The network connection goes back online within few seconds, the link sometimes holds online for few minutes, sometimes only for few seconds. The ping test running for few hours shows around 1% loss rate.

The issue started to appear after moving the router to a different place in the room, nothing else has changed. The CPU temperature is around 70-75 degrees Celsius. I’m wondering what has happened, maybe a cold solder joint somewhere? Anyone seen a similar behavior?

The router is running firmware version 3.11.21.

Assuming that you’re using the RJ45 WAN port: Did you to a different Ethernet cable?

Yes, I’m using a RJ45 WAN port and I’ve tried a different cable as a very first thing when I was trying to fix the issue.
