Qualcomm QCN90X4 WIFI6 and WIFI6E minipcie card

I found this recently on aliexpress and it according to specificactions it
has Qualcomm Atheros QCN90X4 here QCN9074 and QCN9024 and I wonder if this chipset is already supported by openwrt or linux in general.

For now it is quite expensive and team will probably say that Turris is not supporting it now but anyway. I am quite happy with AsiaRF cards but remember Qualcomm Atheros chipsets had stronger signal before.

I use AsiaRF cards in my omnia and get upgrade kits also for Turris 1X.

If I am not mistaken this are going to be supported by ath11k driver which is currently in testing phase. You could compile your own kernel with some additional patches and you are going to be able to select kmod-ath11k. I am waing until its supported in OpenWRT release.

Quich search for “ath11k openwrt” will give you answers.

Thank you, that was exactly what I wanted to know. So we have to wait. Even reforris probably does not support the band yet.
