Hello,
from your post I didn’t find any useful informations except it went down.
Can you provide more details about it?
Is there something about it in file - “messages”?

i do some configuration like changing the chanel and it goes down.
After a reboot sometimes it is up sometime not. and the log is now without information - it is up.

You mean administration for 5 GHz WiFi went down or yours WiFi?
Cant it be related to 500 - Internal Server Error on /wireless/radio0.network1 ?

If you have it in DFS channels/frequencies the card will stop communication until it is sure there are no radars in the frequency. It can take a minute or two before it resumes communications.

Same here. Qualcomm Atheros QCA9880 802.11bgnac (radio0) is super unstable. Using channel 48. Generic 802.11ac Wireless Controller (radio0) shows 0%. The PCI light at the front of the router is off. Only way is to switch off the router and switch it back. Then it’ll fail again a few hours later.
It’s actually really bad since the last router updates…

Firmware version: OpenWrt omnia 15.05 r47055 / LuCI 5ca9e5d2391f6ca149db4e53cda7c8f5d3ef6644 branch (git-16.335.29518-5ca9e5d)
Kernel version: 4.4.35-34abcd5e548fc8ed5390269f3a31d173-15

This is beyond annoying…

in my configuration:
PCI1 = always off (nothing on it)
PCI2 = Qualcomm Atheros QCA9880 802.11bgnac (radio0)
PCI3 = Generic MAC80211 802.11bgn (radio1)

Are all the other settings good?

iw reg get

vi /etc/config/wireless

country = (your country)…do try a European country first.

Also try channel 36 for couple of days and see how that goes. The TX-power put it at MAX 20.

To be on the safe side also set option txpower ‘23’ on 20 in your wireless config. Then try channel 36 to be used

Then give it a

ifconfig wlan0 down
ifconfig wlan0 up

and disable and enable it through LuCI.

Because i also have trouble with it on every other channel besides channel 36.

Ok. Done that.
Let’s see.

Note: This morning the PCI2 was off again… So had to switch off/on the Turris again.

You can try to disable tkip, if you don’t use it.
option encryption 'psk2+ccmp’
Just my opinion. Do you have any apples?

So you mean leave the Wireless Security on Auto instead of the default "Force TKIP and CCMP (AES)?
Could you tell me me the logic behind this? Just so I understand
Mostly Apple devices but also Sky, Sony TV, PS4, etc…

Looks like my Macbook Pro disconnected… This was in /var/log/messages

No, I have the Encryption: WPA2 PSK (CCMP) “Force CCMP (AES)”. It helped me from this security behavior of OS X.

And also I have since that change Wi-Fi switched on. Just a note is set in LUCI. I have to also change the password in the LUCI. If you change password in FORIS than it returns to "Force TKIP and CCMP (AES). I will report it next week as feature request, but before that I want to complete the update of the system.
