OpenVPN issues; cannot connect

I’m trying to use the built-in OpenVPN wizard to setup a connection to my Omnia, but it is causing a lot of issues. When I initially try to connect, the device will be unable to complete establishing the connection. If I click the "apply configuration button, and then try to connect, it works long enough for the device to establish a connection, but then almost immediately stops working again. Moreover, local machines are no longer able to connect to the Internet until the router is rebooted.
I messed around trying to get OpenVPN working on my own earlier on, but I though I’d deleted all the files I added, and removed any modifications. If I want to make sure all OpenVPN files are wiped, is there a command I can use?

Here is the output from cat /var/log/messages | grep openvpn:

You can always do a three led factory reset restore?

I have a lot of stuff set up I’d prefer not to lose.
