Omnia no longer showing life after reFeris MCU update

I’ve inherited two Omnias (CZ11NIC20), bother were running feris version 70 and I spent some time updating the uboot (via serial) and image (via usb) to the latest 7.0.3, I had both running that version without any problem.

I decided to setup one of them and ticked the experimental software update to update everything (uboot, image and mcu).

I got a notification to reboot the device because the mcu got updated and I clicked reboot on referis and it is completely dead, No leds light up and there is nothing over the serial line, I have checked the serial and PSU on the other unit and those all work fine.

Is the board dead? if not can it be resurected somehow?

Have you tried to use this guide? If not, please try it before any other attempts.

Also, the LEDs are set to 0 brightness after the reset. have you tried increasing their brightness by pressing the brightness button?

Nothing, it gets stuck one

I’ve pulled the power, hit the reset button and nothing, no lights appear on my ftdi adapter
