Omnia-mcutool --update

Hi,

with Omnia 6.4.3 Update we had this in the changelog:

• omnia-mcutool: updated to version 0.2 and packaged firmware

How do we use it? Should we use it? Just run omnia-mcutool --update?

So this is still Open. Does that mean we should wait with the update until the status is Merged?

Please, what’s the status here? I am still on 6.4.2 as I am waiting for instructions announced here:

We will write up something about it in few days with a short howto.

That’s 20d ago. Are there any instructions yet?

You should not block the update. It only enables new options, it does not update the MCU (AFAIK).

As the patch now has the status Merged, I upgraded to 6.4.4, then ran:

opkg install omnia-mcutool
omnia-mcutool --upgrade

Seems everything went fine.
