Omnia: LED intensity not preserved

After upgrade to TOS6 the intensity of front panel’s LED is not preserved. I use front button to dim LEDs, then after a short amount of time it changes back - presumably by rainbow script. Is this an intended behaviour? Is there an easy fix?

I liked the way it works in TOS5.

Looks like there’s going to be progress with the next release of the rainbow-ng package.

I suppose all we can do now is to wait for a patch?!
I face the very same issue beside that can’t even set colors for wifi leds so they are just off now :]
Do I understand correctly that now the only correct way is to configure leds via /etc/system/rainbow and not through the /etc/config/rainbow? Is there any documentation for that? Changelog says there’s some new driver for LEDs but nothing else.
