MOX Power-WiFi + PoE Switch issue

Hi guys,
sorry to bother you, but I tried all the possible combinations that I have in my managed switch and I don’t find similar topics or documentation.

With the current setup: MOX Power-WiFi plus the MOX PoE add-on and, as a switch, Netgear GS310TP PoE+; the link is not starting up.

I tried with different IEEE specs and Power Limit following the doc
Do you have any ideas?

Thanks

Hi,

With Mox powered using power supply is connection to netgear ok?
Are you testing it directly (short cable)? Did you tried multiple cables?

hey there

With Mox powered using power supply is connection to netgear ok?

yes, working like a charm

Are you testing it directly (short cable)? Did you tried multiple cables?

yes and yes

i power a mox power wifi + c module via the poe add on… i use a injector (TP-Link TL-POE160S PoE+) and a 25m cat 6 cable. it just works.
so, either your poe module is faulty, wrongly installed or there is something weird going on in your switch, because it absolutety should be able to power the mox with it´s 55W poe capability.

Is the cable connecting all eight pins (8P8C)?

The MOX POE-module could be faulty or dead as well…
I tried my POE-module with a POE-injector on both MOX I own and it also worked just like a charm.

Thank you guys!
I bought a replacement and then I’ll let you know :crossed_fingers:

Is the cable connecting all eight pins (8P8C)?

yes

All good guys! Thank you so much.
The MOX POE module was faulty.
