I installed miniDLNA on Turris, which works as my home NAS. It works fine, but I don’t know how to set the default sorting of songs. If I use a Denon device, it shows the song titles, but they are not sorted alphabetically by song title, instead they are sorted by actor name, which is hidden.
How can I get miniDLNA to use the song title as the default sorting method?
I am not sure how to do this with minidlna.
I use serviio on my NAS to serve movies and music over dlna and it provides multiple ways of sorting.
I control my devices(tv/speakers) from android phone via Bubbleupnp android app.
Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, I don’t see the serviio package in /cgi-bin/luci/admin/system/opkg, only minidlna is there. Can you help me how to find it?
I m not sure if Minidlna has some sorting, and on the other hand I m not sure if the clients follow default sorting from Minidlna, but each client should have sorting capabilities. Is Denon AV receiver your client? Doesn’t it have any sorting option?
In my case neither TV nor receiver(Marantz) have any sorting option, but they show in different orders.
