Hi,
Having my Omnia (Indiegogo campaing) with
- USB DVB-T2 tuner
- USB HDD
- mSATA SSD in miniPCIe/mSATA slot
- one Wifi card in miniPCIe slot
I heard I should look on ASM106x chips. Having kernel from TOS 3.11
opkg list-installed | grep scsi
kmod-scsi-core - 4.4.199+1-1-a890a5a94ebb621f8f1720c24d12fef1-1
opkg list-installed | grep ahci
kmod-ata-ahci - 4.4.199+1-1-a890a5a94ebb621f8f1720c24d12fef1-1
kmod-ata-ahci-platform - 4.4.199+1-1-a890a5a94ebb621f8f1720c24d12fef1-1
kmod-ata-mvebu-ahci - 4.4.199+1-1-a890a5a94ebb621f8f1720c24d12fef1-1
is it safe to assume I just cant use this kind of adapter due to issues with drivers, and there is need to find this kind somwehere to buy?
I have faith that someone has thes adapters for long time and remember if its possible to use them… But reading SATA HDD issues and SATA controler unavailable after reboot makes me worried about SATA stability with Turris, maybe better would be replace USB disc with bigger, or connect two USB3 discs via USB powered HUB… (?)
Thanks in Advance
