I’ve noticed that modifying the firewall in LUCI and applying the updates, removes the sentinel firewall rules.
Restarting the firewall service fixes this, but I imagine running firewall reload after an update in LUCI should occur.

Cool thanks. I had a quick look through the issues, not all that familiar with the code base yet, luci seemed to be within openwrt repo.
