Instability of WIFI connection

Hello, I’m using Turris omnia for over 5 years now and I started to have issues with unstable WIFI.

The problem is clearly visible on the video conferences where I have a few second long freezes.

When I restart the radio, everything comes back to a previous state. In the kernel log I can see entries like these:

Have you experienced similar issues on your side?
Any recommendations about how to diagnose the root cause? I’m a bit lost because I don’t know where to search for possible reasons of such a behaviour.

Restart wifi or reset ? in reForis-wifi the option at the bottom ?

Yeah, I’m doing it but it’s frustrating. I need to do this every day…

return to working condition schnapps ?

It didn’t help. Still the same issues. Can it be a hardware issue?

Yeah, reach the technical support via e-mail, they will try to help you. I am not sure, did you try alternative drivers, which are available to install within reForis? If not, give it a try. Also, we should not rule out the HW issue, but that’s why there is available support to reach.

It looks like this driver: Candela Technologies Wi-Fi drivers for Qualcomm Atheros QCA988x with improved stability in busy networks works pretty well.

Thanks all for your suggestions .
