The wiki basically configures kresd to forward queries to Google DNS. Is there an alternative way that keeps on using kresd itself to resolve?
Blocking and forwarding is basically independent. Remove forwarding rule(s) and kresd will iterate.
I ended up using TurrisOS’s configuration (see the other thread), much cleaner and easier.
