Several times recently I’ve awakened to a “dead” network. Computers seemed to have self-assigned ip addresses. Those with static DHCP leases have wrong address (i.e. not the one I’ve assigned in the static list). I’ve had to switch my main desktop to static/manual ip just to access my network. Am attempting to force renewal of all dhcp leases so the machines once again pick up their correct ip addresses. How do I do this on Omnia? Dnsmasq does not appear to be assigning leases - lease file in /tmp is empty. Discussions I’ve found on the web re dhcp on openWRT don’t seem to apply to what I’m seeing on my Omnia - although I’m new enough in my learning curve that this could be my lack of knowledge! Pointers would be helpful, as I’ve not found topics on this form that seem to discuss my problem.
