I wonder if I should activate HAAS. However, I only use SSH within my LAN. The SSH port is not open to the WAN via the firewall.
Does HAAS help anyway in my case?
Haas is not a direct protection. It opens ssh on wan and redirects traffic to CZ.NIC serevers where they “play” with the attacker to figure out current attack vectors. Once the attack vectors are discovered, they can be published and possibly fixed in all software on the internet, which might be a super indirect protection
