Dnsmasq compiled without DHCPv6

Could we please have DHCPv6 enabled in dnsmasq?

2016-10-08T16:22:47+02:00 info dnsmasq[15306]: compile time options: IPv6 GNU-getopt no-DBus no-i18n no-IDN DHCP no-DHCPv6 no-Lua TFTP no-conntrack no-ipset no-auth no-DNSSEC loop-detect inotify

Do you really want to?

OpenWRT uses odhcpd for DHCPv6 and RA by default. Yes, you can map allocated IPs to hostnames and use dnsmasq for local DNS. It’s done with the duid option in the config host entry in /etc/config/dhcp.

Yes, I really want to, I wouldn’t ask if I didn’t.
I don’t use odhcpd and don’t want to.

There are more variants of dnsmasq package:

# opkg list dnsmasq\*
dnsmasq - 2.73-1 - It is intended to provide coupled DNS and DHCP service to a LAN.
dnsmasq-dhcpv6 - 2.73-1 - It is intended to provide coupled DNS and DHCP service to a LAN.

This is a variant with DHCPv6 support
dnsmasq-full - 2.73-1 - It is intended to provide coupled DNS and DHCP service to a LAN.

This is a fully configurable variant with DHCPv6, DNSSEC, Authroitative DNS and
 IPset support enabled by default.

So just install some other variant.

…And then the updater uninstalls it. Very helpful indeed.
