Hola,
can you guys provide a standard (stable) openwrt image for download?
I mean just compiled with standard packages (just luci) and all needed Kernelmodules.
To my mind there is too much preconfigured.
Thanks,
Lars

sigh
you are not alone
my omnia is sitting on the shelf until i can install ‘clean’ openwrt/lede.
I just hope this gets done before there IS more powerfull commodity hardware out there.
mh
building an image on my own want be the problem, but there is no profile…
so we have to select the needed firmware by ourselves.
possibly can take hours
Anyone tried to flash the minimal image provided here: ?
http://api.turris.cz/openwrt-repo/omnia/medkit/omnia-medkit-latest-minimal.tar.gz
You have to do the full 4 leds reflash.
Also voting for a clean OpenWRT/LEDE, no Foris and no Transmission and other bloat.
as far as i can see this must be the default configs for creating the omnia fw.
But which config is used by default?!
yes, forris is one thing i don’t want.
in my network setup it causes more problems than solutions.
just stumbled upon
Edit:
seems somewhat outdated/unmaintained and misses CONFIG_NET_SCH_INGRESS
… gotta draw the line somewhere
believe me, debian would be my favorite choice #1, but there’s one big issue:
the missing comfort of luci.
it’s not cause i don’t know how to, its more likely i can’t spent years for programming html files.
or do you know any web-based-config for debian like luci?
especially the luci-iptables-mod is great.
I’m using linux (debian) and windows, modding iptables on the fly (for gaming) is absolutely great with luci.
administrating debian is my job I got payed for.
++ i want standard openwrt on too, how can we do that?
So far a little feedback:
Great router, great software.
I decided to clean the original image instead of compiling a new one.
having no route means no internetaccess = no compiling.
–> spent some time to pkgupdater & updater.sh and prevent it of reinstalling ervery package and without affirmation <—
also recompiled some more package. for example squid with configure option “enable ssl crtd” and "disable-internal-dns"
Maybe you guys can add those 3 lines to the Makefile?
next step: writing script for log analys.

edit: i killed EVERYTHING related to ipv6.
