If anyone else is interested, I’ve started taking notes at https://blog.voltagex.org/2017/01/27/turris-omnia-openwrt-with-warts/ after losing an hour or two wondering why local DNS resolution wasn’t working.
AFAIK there should be no unbound running by default on Omnia. (Old Turris versions used unbound instead of knot-resolver.)
Yeah, doesn’t look like it. The Services page in LuCI showed Knot as disabled, even though kresd was definitely running.
