Can't connect to MOX WebUI

I have a MOX and struggled to configure DSL, reForis just spit out errors even after I think I setup a default WAN interface in LUCI.

The router was not online for quite some months so i wanted to do offline firmware updates using medkit.

I downloaded the latest medkit onto a USB, along with asc and sha256, formatted FAT32

Went through the complicated reset modes in mode 4, waited a while.

Connected a flat ethernet cable that came with my router and tried to open the webUI, but got issues.

ethernet connection

It seems only eth0 (WAN port, main port) is enabled before setup?

I used that one and got a connection, but maybe not perfect.

Laptop configs

My laptop runs Fedora, NetworkManager, ip.

Before I had to configure a static IP to connect to my modem, using 192.168.1.100/24.

I flushed the ip addresses and brought the ethernet interface back up, which means it should have a dynamic IP.

I have a firefox profile just for router configs and it worked before.

Disabled my VPN, using default DNS, it worked before normally.

But I cannot open the webUI showing me the 2 UI options.

What could be the problem? I rebooted the router twice

Maybe instead of using the crippled reset-methods of MOX re-intiate the SD-card?
Whenever something went wrong with my config that’s the way I took.

My advice: extract the working snapshots to some backup-disc and you can restore it whenever necessary.

Sounds complicated.

Somehow I managed to connect again. Before, only eth0 worked, now only one of the 4 LAN ports worked
