Bind: collisions of packages

So I installed bind-tools, the full package of bind tools, because I wanted useful commands like host. I had to un-install bind-dig. My Omnia started nightly email complaints with

##### Error notifications #####
Updater failed:
[string "transaction"]:311: [string "transaction"]:144: Collisions:
• /usr/bin/dig: bind-dig (new), bind-tools (existing)

Un-installing bind-tools stopped the message, but I lost the extras.

What’s the proper way to resolve issues like this? Entries into auto.lua? user.lua?

I’ve just the met the same issue in OpenWrt 18.06.04 (Turris OS 4.0) on Turris Omnia as I was testing bind it’s the latest version of series 9.11, but I realized that I prepared a fix in OpenWrt as it was issue how bind was packaged in OpenWrt, but it was not backported to openwrt-18.06 branch as you can see my pull request:

However, the issue was fixed in Turris OS 3.11, which was released on 18th December 2018.
