Backport ntfs3 driver to omnia kernel

The ntfs3 driver is a new addition to the linux kernel which fully supports the ntfs fs from microsoft and is going to replace the ntfs-3g userspace driver as well as the read only ntfs driver in upstream kernel.
Based on some testing using an x86 PC and also a Raspberrypi it gives great speeds, is it possible to backport and enable the ntfs3 kernel in turris omnia? i have a few Terabytes hard drive filled with data that i want to connect to the omnia and use as a nas but the drive is formatted as ntfs and i don’t have a backup to be able to reformat.

Regards
