pigtails? I think yes. I didn’t buy antennas from them.

You will need u.fl (depends on card/s) to rp-sma (depends on antenna/s)
For example TSBohemia in Czech is selling them , but they are too long.
I think 15-20cm would be better.

I’m considering to replace the wifi card once this one comes out.

it has 4 antenna outputs, I assume I will have to install additional antennas for this.
