Wifi Latency - random packet delays [FIXED issue not on OMNIA]

I have strange random lags on my wifi. Ping form multiple devices can go up to 1000ms. I don’t have wifi interference issue as i live in quite “wifi clean” area. I happens on radio0 (5Ghz) and it’s even worse on radio1 (2.4 Ghz) . Here is a ping log example :

tcmac:~ shock$ ping
PING ( 56 data bytes
64 bytes from icmp_seq=0 ttl=64 time=490.031 ms
64 bytes from icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=212.784 ms
64 bytes from icmp_seq=2 ttl=64 time=0.923 ms
64 bytes from icmp_seq=3 ttl=64 time=2.423 ms
64 bytes from icmp_seq=4 ttl=64 time=2.502 ms
64 bytes from icmp_seq=5 ttl=64 time=2.505 ms
64 bytes from icmp_seq=6 ttl=64 time=2.450 ms
64 bytes from icmp_seq=7 ttl=64 time=2.483 ms

64 bytes from icmp_seq=12 ttl=64 time=2.364 ms

working on the router via SSH reminds me old times, when my letters comes 1sek later after I typed them.

I did also factory reset to see it that behaves same with old version - yes it does, I’ve seen even packet loss. Now I came back to 3.5.3.

root@atom:/tmp/run/mountd/sda1# ethtool -i wlan0
driver: ath10k_pci
version: 4.4.39-80079e1c1e5f9ca7ad734044
bus-info: 0000:02:00.0
supports-statistics: yes
supports-test: no
supports-eeprom-access: no
supports-register-dump: no
supports-priv-flags: no

when I ping my PC from router it behaves the same.
root@atom:/tmp/run/mountd/sda1# ping

i tried also latest QCA988X firmware -, but it does not help.

I’m not happy as it impacts NW performance … all works fine via LAN connection.
Any idea how to fix that ?

Cheers Tomas

Problem fixed - issue on my mac book after upgrade to Sierra.
