Updating locally installed packages

I have installed a variety of packages via the Software menu/page to customize my Omnia. Page header states: “Be advised the software installed by this page is not updated automatically. You may want to enable a package list in /etc/config/updater instead.”

Multiple package lists appear to be enabled already:
config pkglists 'pkglists’
list lists 'netutils’
list lists 'nas’
list lists 'shell-utils’
list lists 'luci-controls’
list lists 'lxc’
list lists 'cacerts’
list lists 'i_agree_honeypot’
list lists ‘i_agree_datacollect’

config override 'override’
option disable ‘0’

I suspect the advisement to enable a package list refers to adding to /etc/config/updater. Not clear from reading the online doc where I should start on this. Could anyone offer pointers?

This message is for users of old updater. And it kind of stayed there. Packages installed trough Luci should be updater automatically unless something bad happens or you made some bigger software changes.
