List of known bugs:

Turris HW known bugs:

  • In some cases, Turris MOX and Turris Shield are not correctly rebooted.
You could try to remove the power supply and plug it back. We are working to have the solution with the manufacturer of SoC (Marvell). In the meantime, you can try this workaround.

And what SDIO warning?

Mox A+D simple setup.
Other than what pepe mention regarding reboot issue everything looks ok.

TO2020, no issues so far.

Hi,
workaround worked perfect for me, now my Mox reboots OK. I can recomend. Thx !

Hi Pepe,
I’m happy that for the first time I noticed “known bugs” info as a part of release announcement.
Please, keep it in your flow - it is not a shame, but it is allowing people to make wise choice.
Other “mature” manufactures do the same - as example, fresh release notes for QTS firmware from Qnap: QTS 5.0.0.1932 build 20220129 | Poznámky k vydání | QNAP - there are sections:

  • Important Notes
  • Security Updates
  • Fixed Issues
  • Known Issues
  • Other Changes

Part of this report is as well link to the Product Support Status, where you can find manufacturer statement about when will be discontinued support for particular model (no one wants to read about his one, but it’s good to know in advance).
Thanks you and whole Turris team for continuous updates!

I still have the same problem as with 5.3.4 (which I needed to revert) on my MOXs: The WiFi-firmware crashes. It doesn’t matter whether I install ath10k or ath10k-ct drivers…

A rollback to 5.3.3 brings again back my Wi-Fi…
Does anyone else discover the same problem running a WLE1216v5-20?

Thanks for report. We do have a few samples of WLE1216v5 and we will try to reproduce it.

Upgraded from 5.3.4. So far everything works just fine.

Today 2nd day in a row since with this update wfh laptop connected to guest wifi(2.4) intermittently ending up with dns resolution error. When this happens evidently still connected to the wifi (signal strength -39dBm) but no internet no ping.
Only workaround is to disconnect/reconnect to the wifi.

Seems only guest network or maybe just this laptop affected, no such issue from other subnets(wifi or wired).

Device is TO2020 and my main router since 1year, never had such problem before.

This is what I found in logs if related(there is nothing else unusual in log):

Feb 11 12:53:27 turris hostapd: guest_turris_1: STA xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx IEEE 802.11: deauthenticated due to inactivity (timer DEAUTH/REMOVE)

Edit: Not sure but there is a mobile(android) also connected to this guest wifi but apparently not affected.

Hello, I am not sure if the issue is related to the update, however this morning there was not a wifi network available (using mox). After restart all works well again.
I have checked the log in the evening to see if there is more info available. There are plenty of “Unknown TLDS frame type” entries. Any idea what this is ?
Thanks

I just wanna say, d*** the Turris Omnia is just awesome. It saved my a** so many times (configured something wrong), rollback…

Btw, was not aware of a cronjob creating a automatic rollback (awesomely done Turris team!!).

Update to above:
Still suffering from same problem since with this update.
I was told to remove saved wifi network from that windows host and add again, but it ended up with same problem after few days.
Then I was told to do network-reset on that window host, unfortunately after 2days ended up with same problem.

I m highly suspecting it is related to this 5.3.5 release, because the problem started immediately right after with this update. That laptop connected to TO for about 1 year wo problems.

What can I check? Any help is appreciated.
