Dear Turris users,

It’s pleasure to announce to you that we released Turris OS 3.11.9 RC version for Turris 1.x and Turris Omnia routers.

In this release, the most noticeable security update is for tcpdump, which fixes multiple CVEs and updated other packages as well with various fixes and improvements.

Full release notes for this release are:
• tcpdump, sudo, uci, libarchive: security update
• knot-resolver, wireguard, kernel, youtube-dl, turris-maintain: update

• ripe-atlas-probe, atlas-sw-probe: new packages
We are working for documentation for those new packages, but there is going to be closed beta testing.

If you will find any issues in this release, please let us know about them, so we can fix it.

Turris 1.0, RC version…
I don’t know the reason, but restart unusually long.

My internet connection seems to be slower. Suddenly YouTube is always buffering and quite long too.

Turris Omnia, simple config., seems OK, only restart took quite long.

And it’s gone 20 chars

Omnia 2GB Ok (OpenVPN server, 3x LXC, SATA card, SSD + HW raid BOX)

A post was split to a new topic: Feedback about Turris OS 3.x/4.x release

We have released another RC version of Turris OS 3.11.9.

Changelog between RC1 version and this RC2 version:

  • knot: Update to version 2.9.1
  • kernel: Update to version 4.4.402
  • fixes a security vulnerability in LuCI

SFSG Simple config, seems OK. Only it took couple of minutes after restart that I was able to login either in Foris or SSH :frowning:

I tried it with a netbooted mox, and still no success… Or do I have to manually update the netboot image somehow?

Netboot jsem v této verzi nezkoušel. Omnii a MOX jsem spároval tokenem.

The final release is out!
