Turris OS 3.11.3 in RC

update from rc4 to rc5 went ok, thus far no issues lodged in the logs

I updated from RC4 to RC5, no issues so far for this RC.

The last few updates I do see an error from netdata, any info on how to fix this netdata error in the logs?
2019-02-22 13:53:34 err netdata[9252]: BTRFS: failed to read ‘/sys/fs/btrfs/490430d3-794d-4d61-a795-daa1e1e1b126/allocation/data/total_bytes’

Thanks
John

I updated successfully and it’s still working

If anyone finds this post, here is the solution provided by @Pepe

That’s related to netdata, because it can’t read the value. You can disable in it.

The best way, how you can do it is download netdata.conf, which you can download from here http://192.168.1.1:19999/netdata.conf and replace it in your router /etc/netdata/netdata.conf

In the replaced file, you need to uncomment and change the value of it.

There you can see:

 	# /sys/fs/btrfs = yes

Uncomment it by just deleting the # and instead of yes, write there no.

So, in the end, it will look like this:

	 /sys/fs/btrfs = no

Restart netdata and errors from the netdata are gone.

Please can you check miniupnpd? I temporarily switched from Turris to OPNsense firewall, and on OPNsense UPnP worked again without any changes on network or windows, so somewhere in miniupnpd must be problem. :frowning: I tried to switch back to Turris and UPnP stopped working again. MiniUPnPd of Turris config below:
config upnpd ‘config’
option enabled ‘1’
option enable_natpmp ‘1’
option enable_upnp ‘1’
option internal_iface ‘lan’
option port ‘0’
option upnp_lease_file ‘/var/run/miniupnpd.leases’
option igdv1 ‘1’
option download ‘4096’
option upload ‘4096’
option secure_mode ‘0’
option uuid ‘63fee04f-98f8-4b0b-9050-0e34800b577c’

config perm_rule
option comment ‘Allow’
option ext_ports ‘1024-65535’
option int_addr ‘0.0.0.0/0’
option int_ports ‘1024-65535’
option action ‘allow’

I am using it as well. Nothing special so far.

My log is a bit flooded with this messages:
2019-03-19 14:00:17 err kernel[]: [170083.417177] huawei_cdc_ncm 4-1:1.1 wwan0: kevent 2 may have been dropped

But it was there before. Everything works as expected besides that annoyance.

Hi,

Just curious; Is there an ETA on 3.11.3?
It’s been in RC for almost 3 months.

Almost 2 months, not 3.

Almost 2 months, not 3.

I stand corrected.
