We really appreciate your suggestion and we don’t want to delay 3.10 anymore as we’ll release another RC soon, but we’ll update the package as you wish. 
If it will go very well then you can expect it in some of our minor release - 3.10.x.
We’ll inform you how it goes directly on Gitlab.
