Turris Omnia. How to update to 3.10 RC or other image version

Hello, since about two days, Ihave now a two Turris Omnia. One for useing and one for playing.

I have found:

I dont see:

  • How to see the number of installed Firmware ?
  • How to check for newer Firmware by hand?
  • How to install a Firmware version of my decission?

In Foris/Updater you can switch to updates requiring explicit approvals and/or being delayed.

THX for the links. I will try to change to RC update version of Firmware.

Hope the webinterface will be much better. A its still looks again, the router is a game for programmer and not anithing what ca use by user for anything. The funding collected about 1,2 Mio USD or €. Thats two or more years agao. A the router still dont have webinterface for what a router should can do.

I can’t really speak for the project, but Foris wasn’t meant to provide interface to everything. Its point is to provide simple interface for the most commonly needed functions, as luci (or even ssh) is too complex to most people.

Now I changed to RC update regime. Found desription on your link Thats found on your link https://doc.turris.cz/doc/en/howto/release_candidate1 Typed follow for changing to rc update regime follow on SSH console:
switch-branch rc

I hope this will update my router some times.

I checked this. It`s looks like it give no possibility to check by hand, new updates available or not.

Try LUCi. I think there is a link somewhere in the footer of Foris (/cgi-bin/luci). I would say that interface is quite legit for a router.
