Turris MOX (Module A w. 512MB RAM)- Able to run Pihole lxc container?

I am trying to decide which router to use in my home network.

The key feature is being able to run lxc container with pihole. Unfortunately, I can only find MOX in ready made sets (MOX Classic) with 512MB RAM module A.

Is it enough to run pihole or should I go for Omnia?

I also want ssh server capabilities, but the Pihole is really the key feature.

It’s just a my personal question … why did you ditch AdBlock?

It has much larger scope than Adblock, creating domain blacklists, controlling traffic more…

A basic system in lxc + pi-hole should have minimum footprint, even with 512Mb you should be fine. You can check the current state of your RAM usage before proceeding anyway…
