Storage plugin, select drive or partition?

Hi,

I’m quite confused about the foris storage plugin. I would actually like to mount only a part of my ssd to /srv. And the plugin is showing both the device and the partitions on it, so /dev/sda and also /dev/sda1, /dev/sda2.

Is it possible to select and partition or will the storage plugin require to select the whole drive or destroy the data on the whole drive?

If you select just partition, it will format only partition and use only partition, if you select whole drive, it will format and use whole drive.
