Ssh password failures on new install

i think my omnia was compromised (would not give out ip4 addresses first to wired, then wireless clients). so i reinstalled with omnia-medkit-latest.tar.gz (sha256: a6ef5bab2718410c88ba457b99fc3dfda61e1a515754fa731cf422d924a15341). install fine, followed guide to end successfully, clients connect.

but ssh fails continuously (i want to ssh into router and cannot); and i can’t get it to accept a password. i’ve included ssh connection log (below). any suggestions welcomed!

Can you post the contents of ssh_config and ~ / .ssh / config on the device you are trying to connect from? From these files ssh takes information to connect. Since it’s a fresh install of Turris OS, if you haven’t made any changes to the sshd_config file on Omnia, everything should work fine. The problem should be on the device you are trying to connect from.
