Can “dark mode toggle” be added to forum user preferences?

Looking closer at my preferences, I see that the dark toggle option is already present and checked but there is no “Theme” setting which is present in the Interface page of Preferences in some other Discourse forums.

Until then I recommend DarkReader FF addon maybe there is also one for Chrome based browsers

Thank you, but I have never had a good experience with browser addons. I learned of the suggestion in post #1 because it was implemented last year on another Discourse forum that I visit.

You can switch to the dark mode now. The given icon is on the top-right corner. It utilizes Discourse’s core features, no plugin is necessary.
