Question about bc38 configuration on new 5.1.4

Hello everyone!

I’m a brand new Turris Omnia user. Running a brand new Omnia with 5.1.4

I have a question regarding the default setup of bcp38
(I have not modified these settings, this is just what I am observing)

From UCI:
I read this to mean that my WAN (upstream) is on eth2

network.wan=interface
network.wan.ifname=‘eth2’
network.wan.proto=‘dhcp’
network.wan.ipv6=‘0’

In regards to bcp38, it appears to be listening on the LAN …eth1

bcp38.@bcp38[0]=bcp38
bcp38.@bcp38[0].interface=‘eth1’
bcp38.@bcp38[0].detect_upstream=‘1’
bcp38.@bcp38[0].match=‘127.0.0.0/8’ ‘192.0.2.0/24’ ‘198.51.100.0/24’ ‘203.0.113.0/24’ ‘192.168.0.0/16’ ‘10.0.0.0/8’ ‘172.16.0.0/12’ ‘169.254.0.0/16’
bcp38.@bcp38[0].enabled=‘1’

Is this what I would expect?
I would think that I will want to be filtering out these IPs from WAN requests to eth2

am i understanding this correctly?

Looks like all i have to do is swap the interface over to eth2
