Pakon-monitor stops running

Thx @tonyquan and @mpetracek for going deeper into the said issue… My apologies for not getting back… Work and life has been very busy…

Since last week (6/21) when 3.10.2 was installed and rebooted, pakon is behaving well for me… Am I just lucky???

same for me. pakon-monitor has been running without issue for a week now.

Hi there. I have the same problem. Pakon-show in SSH gives a list, but stops working after X timestamp . It basically stopped 2 days after install.
pakon-monitor :not found
In luci it tells me pakon-monitor is running, but on the forris it ‘failed to load data"’,

Not very familiar with debugging.

best, Dikke

@DIKKEHENK pakon has been running stably for me, but one thing i might try is seeing if somehow the pakon data is getting corrupted. If you don’t care about completely deleting the existing pakon data I provided instructions on how to do that here Turris OS 3.10.3 released

If it happens again after resetting the data, it may be something else completely of course.

@tonyquan Ha, thank you. I tried that, but strange enough now , after pakon-show its says no records to show.
I do see in luci>process that python3 /usr/libexec/pakon-light/ & python3 /usr/libexec/pakon-light/ is running.
And all 3 pakon’s are started in luci> startup.

Strange…no clue why it is not showing any records…

I assume you ran

where i mentioned it in the reset instructions?

if so, is /var/lib/pakon.db there? That is where the live/newest data lives.

i did this ;
@turris:~# /etc/init.d/pakon-handler stop
@turris:~# /etc/init.d/pakon-monitor stop
@turris:~# rm /var/lib/pakon.db
@turris:~# rm /srv/pakon/*
@turris:~# /usr/libexec/pakon-light/
@turris:~# /etc/init.d/pakon-monitor start
@turris:~# /etc/init.d/pakon-handler start
@turris:~# pakon-show
no records to show

turris:~# cd /var/lib
@turris:/tmp/lib# ls
misc netdata pakon.db

how big is the pakon.db file and is it getting updated at all?

if it’s not changing I’m stuck as to why not. might be time to contact tech support.

Pakon acting up again…

@turris:~# /etc/init.d/pakon-handler stop
@turris:~# /etc/init.d/pakon-monitor stop

Error: database or disk is full
Command failed: Not found

@turris:~# df -h

Any advice what to do next???
