Na Turris 1.0 s RC 3.11.8 jsem obdržel 2x hlášku o aktualizaci, ačkoliv novější verze nebyla vydána.
Pozorujete to také někdo? Je to chyba updateru nebo co se děje?
Neopakují se, po každé se instaluje jiná verze dle mailu.
Např. kernel 4.4.194 4.4.195 4.4.196
Teoreticky je to už RC3.
Jo, teď to vidím, máte pravdu, verze jsou o číslo vyšší, tak beru zpět.
Asi planý poplach, ale něco se děje…
Myslím si, že by tohle mohlo být způsobené tím, že používáte branch prerc a nikoliv rc dle verze kernelu by to odpovídalo. Do RC jsme vydali verzi Turris OS 3.11.8 pouze jednou s kernelem 4.4.194. V nadcházejícím RC (tedy ve větvi prerc) již můžete najít nejnovější verzi kernelu 4.4.196.
Poslední dobou jsem nic neměnil. Není možné, že se rozbily větve při vydávání TOS 4.0 ?
4.4.195 se mi instalovala 7.10.
Před tím akorát automatická aktualizace na RC (4.4.194) 4.10.

Tak to vypadá, že se spíš u TOS 4.0.1 něco nepovedlo a začalo to dělat problém ve větvích.
Také jsem nic neměnil a stále používám RC…

Problém není s releasem Turris OS 4.0, ale je tam skutečně. Udělali jsme chybu při vydávání RC a nedošlo k náhradě cesty v listech pro updater a z RC se tak efektivně stal stable (ne jako stabilní větev,nýbrž takto pojmenovaný vývojový větev). V blízké době vydáme novou verzi která tento problém opraví. Děkujeme za nahlášení.
