I need help with a simple task: I just want to plug in a hard drive (an 8 TB USB 3 drive that comes formatted as an NTFS drive). I have tried to connect this hard drive to my Turris Omnia, which seems to be able to “see” it but I can’t connect or mount the volume to access it as a network share.
I do not know much about how the Omnia works so any help you can provide to get this to work needs to be dumbed down, a lot! LOL
I know there is another thread (External Hard Drive NOT Showing Up) but I’m hoping there is a straight forward way to simply have this volume setup to save files within my LAN (I don’t want to implement some kludgey USB 2.0 Hub to make it work). Thanks!
